The Campaign for Transit Equity

Our campaign for equitable service in San Francisco

We believe equitable service is the backbone of San Francisco’s future. Connecting every neighborhood with frequent and rapid transit service will be the future of San Francisco’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a part of our 30×30 campaign, we’re working in the Bayview to organize riders and advocate for better, faster, and more reliable service with plans to expand into the other equity priority areas outlined in SFMTA’s Muni Service Equity Strategy.

With help from the Air District, SFMTA, and our community partners, we can advocate for better public transportation in our city.

Transit Justice Coalition

The Transit Justice Coalition (TJC) is a coalition of over 30 organizations from across San Francisco working to advocate for better, faster, and more reliable transit service throughout the city, especially in our most underserved neighborhoods.

With the help of our community partners, we have recently developed a Policy Platform that outlines our vision for transit, identifies specific areas where transit is currently failing, and proposes solutions to achieve our vision.

Using the buttons below, you can learn more about the TJC, read our Policy Platform, leave comments, and endorse our work. You can also submit an application to join the coalition.
