Transit megaprojects: What goes wrong, and how to fix it

Join Transbay Coalition, SPUR and Seamless Bay Area for a two-part workshop series focused on why transit megaprojects tend to cost so much and take so long, and near term opportunities to help fix it. The first session will focus on understanding and recognizing the common challenges in project planning and delivery for megaprojects. The second session will focus on how you can shape MTC’s forthcoming major project advancement policy, which will set up a new risk management framework for megaprojects.
