Join the San Francisco Transit Riders to start gathering signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
We will meet at 11 am at the southeast entrance to Stern Grove Park at Sloat Blvd & 19th Ave (easy access from the K, the M, or the 28) for a quick training and to hand out petition supplies. Everyone is welcome to reconvene near the end of the event to share learnings, or you can head out and return your completed petitions another day!
To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, plan to meet at the event start time. But if you’ve already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading the campaign’s training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones. If you are coming only for petition exchange, please plan to exchange at 11:30am or later. Your RSVP is helpful either way.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you’re under 18, let the campaign know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!

To avoid devastating Bay Area transit service cuts, we need to pass both a regional transit funding measure and a local transit funding measure at the ballot this November. First, the regional measure campaign needs to collect over 200,000 signatures to get on the ballot. Learn more about the regional measure at https://connectbayarea.com/.
