Show your support for the J Church Safety and Accessibility Project

At the SFMTA Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, October 17, the SFMTA will present a proposal that aims to help improve safety for people walking and driving, and increase accessibility at Muni stops along the J Church on San Jose Avenue from Ocean Avenue to Cotter Street in the Mission Terrace neighborhood.

This proposal includes improvements such as transit lanes, widening boarding islands, daylighting, wheelchair-accessible transit stops, rapid flashing beacons, and pedestrian bulbs to shorten crossing distances. All of which will help improve transit and safety for people walking in the neighborhood.
