Muni Forever Summit
We invite San Franciscans to join us for the Muni Forever Summit and help shape a citywide vision for Muni
The summit aims to create the building blocks to build that vision and begin a movement to achieve it.
At the summit, expect to:
Learn about the need to better fund Muni
SFMTA is facing a $322 million deficit starting in summer 2026. An operational deficit existing prior to the pandemic but exacerbated by it.
An opportunity to change how we fundamentally fund transit to have room for expansion of services.
Build a citywide vision for Muni
If we fund Muni, what services and programs should it provide at a minimum?
What expansion is needed?
What is achievable and by when?
Build the movement
We need you to go back to your community and/or expand to other communities to inform and get input to build a citywide vision for transit that is beneficial for everyone. To help fund transit, we need a vision on what to fund that we can all get behind

There will be light food and refreshments on site. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
