Downtown First Thursdays

San Francisco, CA – After a wildly successful event launch on May 2 that drew thousands into the streets of downtown San Francisco and made the neighborhood jump to life, DFT (Downtown First Thursdays) is set to return to 2nd Street between Market and Howard Streets on June 6 from 5-10pm for more FREE, all-ages fun in the streets.

Last month, thousands of families, workers, neighbors, partygoers and curious  passers-by kicked off the inaugural street party, which is on its way to becoming a monthly tradition for downtown neighborhoods and the rest of San Francisco.

The FREE event series aims to kick off a new era of civic pride, bring thousands of people downtown every month, and uplift local businesses, vendors, musicians, and cultural organizations. Attendees can expect free kids activities, food and retail vendors, live music, DJs, two outdoor bars, dozens of restaurants and bars on the block to enjoy, a giant disco ball hanging from a crane, drag, street fashion, and many more surprises that are “so S.F.”
