DESCRIPTION:San Francisco Transit Riders is a membership-based organization that empowers everyday transit riders to raise their collective voices to advocate for pro-rider policies. Riders are at the heart of everything we do and our members are our lifeblood. Every April\, we host our annual Membership Month to celebrate the members who support our organization and advocate for a faster\, safer\, affordable\, accessible\, and equitable transportation system in San Francisco. \nWe’re inviting all of our members\, current and new\, to celebrate SF Climate Week AND Membership Month 2024 with San Francisco Transit Riders! Join us after hours at the San Francisco Railway Museum to party with other SFTR members\, enjoy drinks and snacks\, and participate in a fun raffle to win great prizes! \nIf you’re free beforehand\, join us on a multi-modal adventure to Treasure Island. Once there\, SFTR staff will be taking guests on a guided tour\, exploring the history and future of Treasure Island.
