SUMMARY:Signature Gathering at No Kings Human Banner at Ocean Beach in San Francisco
DESCRIPTION:Join the San Francisco Transit Riders to start gathering signatures for Connect Bay Area\, the five-county regional transit funding measure! \n​A special No Kings Human Banner is being planned at Ocean Beach\, bringing together thousands of politically-engaged locals. \nWe will meet at 10:30 am at the west side of the intersection of Great Highway and JFK Drive for a quick training and to hand out petition supplies. We’ll gather signatures as people arrive—then if you want\, you can stay to participate in this public art project\, and even gather again as the event wraps up! \nYour RSVP is helpful so we can keep you updated on the day of the event. Please also RSVP separately for the Human Banner event on the No Kings page if you plan to participate in that. \nNo experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures.  If you’re under 18\, let the campaign know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help! \n*** \nHundreds of thousands of people will be joining No Kings events throughout the Bay Area on March 28th\, fired up about creating positive change. This is an all-hands-on-deck moment for our signature gathering effort to save Bay Area transit\, so RSVP now for this or any one of our No Kings signature gathering events throughout the five counties\, or let us know that you’ll gather on your own at another No Kings event.
