SUMMARY:3rd Street / Islais Creek Bridge Replacement Action Planning Community Meeting
DESCRIPTION:​This is a follow-up meeting from the community meeting held April 29\, 2026. In this meeting\, we will: \n\n\n​Provide a quick update since the last meeting. \n\n\n​Develop a community response. \n\n\n​Strategize how we can ensure the community response will be heard by city officials. \n\n\n​Food and Beverage will be available. \n​Islais Creek Bridge is being replaced leading to 2 years of construction with no bridge access\, no T-3rd Light rail service\, and cutting off a main artery into Mission Bay for Bayview Residents. For more information on the Bridge Replacement Project\, visit SF Department of Public Works’s project website: link \nLearn more about the BASS Collaborative on this blog post. \n​BASS Collaborative Goals: \n\n\n​Improve street safety and transportation accessibility in Bayview-Hunters Point and Fillmore/Western Addition. \n\n\n​Knowledge share with residents and community-based organizations all the projects happening in the project areas to inform advocacy. \n\n\n​Offer residents and CBOs the array of services and tools provided by SF Bicycle Coalition\, Walk SF\, and SF  Transit Riders.
