DESCRIPTION:At the SFMTA Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday\, October 17\, the SFMTA will present a proposal that aims to help improve safety for people walking and driving\, and increase accessibility at Muni stops along the J Church on San Jose Avenue from Ocean Avenue to Cotter Street in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. \nThis proposal includes improvements such as transit lanes\, widening boarding islands\, daylighting\, wheelchair-accessible transit stops\, rapid flashing beacons\, and pedestrian bulbs to shorten crossing distances. All of which will help improve transit and safety for people walking in the neighborhood. \nTo voice your support\, attend the meeting at City Hall\, call in\, or email your comments to MTABoard@SFMTA.com.
