SUMMARY:Let’s finish the job on a faster\, safer Geary!
DESCRIPTION:Improvements east of Stanyan gave us a Geary that is faster\, with 18% faster travel for the 38/38R\, and safer\, with an 81% drop in excessive speeding. The Geary Boulevard Improvement Project extends the work of the Geary Rapid Project\, which was completed in 2021. It adds four major components to Geary\, from Stanyan to 34th ave\, which you can learn more about here. \nThe SFMTA Board will vote on the Geary Boulevard Improvement Project on August 15th. Meeting starts at 1pm. If you’d like to give a public comment in support\, please fill out the form below so we can send you example talking points\, and a reminder the day before.
